Hot day to go for a wine tour on bikes, but we had fun. Last count was 7 wineries and about $500 in wine between us (the next day when we went back with the wagon). Hunter valley was a good few days and we then went and caught up with Scharpo and Sel with the arrival of their new son Aden in Terrigal. Well done guys! and Cheers

Hottest start to the New Year
Temperatures of 45.1 degrees were recorded at Sydney Airport 1st Jan 2006 Fiona, K's Irish friend from London, is visiting and we tried to tour around Sydney but it was just too dam "hot in the City". So we went for the hairy dog option!

First beers in 2006 (apart from last night) Harbour side.

Last one for you son! "I'm not barry brunked!"

A weekend of Weddings

Last weekend K and I went to Nicole and Neil's wedding down
in Wollongong. It was a chance to wear the Kilt for the first time
in Oz and for K to go out dress and shoe shopping again, as if you
need and excuse for that... cha..... It also happened to be the
weekend Tina and Fred were getting married in Croxley.
So the week before we decided to dress up and send of this
picture (with the addition of the photo shopped sign in the
background) to Matt and we managed to attend both weddings
that weekend (if not both in body!).
Congratulations Tina and Fred and Nicole and Neil......

Turning 30 in Hamilton style!

Turned 30 on the 11th September, and K and I celebrated by going to Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays for a long weekend. It was so nice, we relaxed in style and even had our own golf buggy to nip around in (no cars on the Island). Tried Wake Boarding on the morning of my Birthday and did pretty well really, see me in action on the picture above. What a way to see in my 30s! Can't wait till K catches up so we can celebrate hers in similar style somewhere ;)

Fits the Surf board in still and goes better than the van by a mile. Commodore 3.8litre V6 VX Station Wagon, our new car, that still just sits in the garage all week but we can pop to the shops in it quicker and with less hassels than the van. Thats our block in the back ground though we're looking to move to a town house in November with a garden for the all the barbies we're going to have when Matt, Tash and Chris Robbie and Keira come in the new year.
